Well, Hello There!

Wow! How have you all been? I can't believe I haven't posted anything since July! I haven't been all that busy but I guess my creative mojo hasn't been flowing the last few months. So! Hopefully, I'll be getting back into the swing of things, atleast a little bit! :)
I'd like to share a cute birthday card I made for my sister who LOVES Koala Bears. I used the Create A Critter cartridge and my Cricut machine to create this cute little lovey. I cut the Koala using the shadow feature twice. Adhered them together and then cut the layers (light gray and dark gray). I used pop dots to add dimension between layers. I cut the heart balloon from the same cartridge and used a rub on to add the sentiment. Finishing touches include the pink rhinestones on the heart balloon and the purple bow in the Koala's ear. SO easy and SO cute!

Giraffe Birthday Card!

I created this cute little giraffe birthday card for a family member who loves giraffes. It just so happens the challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge was to create something with a Cricut Zoo Animal! The papers are mostly by Creative Memories with a little Bazzill thrown in for good measure! :) I used the Create-A-Critter Cricut Cartridge to create my little giraffe and used the phrase function from the bear cut to create the "Happy Birthday" phrase. I rounded the corners and added Luster Baubles to finish it off! The giraffe is dimensional and the phrase is popped up off the paper as well.

Bunny Birthday Card!

Wow! I haven't blogged in quite some time. I apologize as the weather here has been rather crappy which gives free reign for my Fibro to act up. Thus, I've been spending less time at my craft table. I have quite a few family birthdays in July so here is another birthday creation! I received this cute little bunny stamp from my blogfriend Jenny in the UK and I use a lot! I LOVE him! Thank you Jenny!!

July 4th Star Card!

I created this star shaped "Happy Fourth of July" card using the Cricut, Cricut DS and the Alphalicious and George cartridges. I cut the stars from George and designed the "Happy 4th" in DS. I added faux stitching around the red star and rhinestones to add some sparkle!

Pink Teddy Birthday Card!

I used the Cricut to create this cute circle shaped birthday card. I used the Create-A-Critter and George cartridges. Isn't she cute? I decoupaged the teddy together using layers. I added a pink dress, pink rhinestones and a sheer pink ribbon and then doodled around the pink circle with a white opaque pen to finish it off!

Happy 4th of July Centerpiece!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY TO MY AMERICAN FRIENDS!! I hope you all had fun and safe celebrations this weekend! Perhaps you had a picnic, caught some fireworks or spent some quality time with family, regardless I hope it was great! We had a small barbecue at our house to celebrate both Independence Day and MY Birthday! ;) I wish it lasted a little longer but boy was I exhausted afterward!

In celebration of Independence Day I made the following centerpiece to put on the outside table. I used Dustin Pike's "Uncle Sam Dudley" image and cut the stars using the Cricut and the George cartridge. I used the Cricut DS to design and cut the "Happy 4th" sentiment using the Alphalicious cartridge. I added floral foam to the bottom of a plain silver pail and then added white shredded paper. I added the skewers to the stars, sentiment and image and stuck them into floral foam. I added the red stars ribbon I had in my stash to the outside of the pail and the Red, White and Blue ribbon to the image.

Isn't he cute??!! I love Dustin Pike's images!

I faux stitched around the sentiment star and the "4".

July 4th is my favorite part of the summer as it usually involves spending a lot of time with family and friends. It is my favorite summer celebration and I don't think "summer" without thinking of 4th of July celebrations!

Encouraging Bunny Card!

This week at Friday Sketchers we were asked to create something using the sketch I based this card on. PaperTake Weekly asked for stitching and Sentimental Sunday asked for Encourgaement/Support. Combine all three together and this is what I came up with using a rubber stamp image colored with pencils. I've been on a monochromatic kick lately, I'm not sure why!
