Hi all! I did something I have never done before. I ventured into the world of "Quilling". According to dictionary.com "to quill is to arrange [paper] in cylindrical ridges". It was interesting to say the least and I don't know how people create gorgeous pictures entirely by quilling. Amazing to me! I chose to make a flower for the Quixotic Challenge Blog. The challenge this week was to "Let Your Garden Grow" by making your own flowers. I thought this would be the best opportunity to try something new!
I stitched around the light blue background using the sewing machine and added the "Thanks A Bunch" alpha beads by hand sewing them to the beige paper and then popped the paper up from the blue background.
